What powers the lamp?
An internal rechargeable battery (USB-C cable included). A full charge gives 6 hours of continuous glow. Use it cordless or leave it plugged in for nonstop ambience.
How do I change the brightness or colors?
Tap the touch-switch once to turn on. Tap again to cycle through 3 brightness levels. Long-press 2 seconds to start the slow-moving aurora mode; press again to pause on your favorite hue.
Is the light dimmable?
Yes—three gentle levels: Night Glow, Reading Glow, and Full Aurora.
Does the lamp get hot?
No. SkyLamp uses low-power LEDs (≤ 5 W) that stay cool, even after hours of use.
Will it disturb my sleep?
The LEDs are flicker-free and the lowest setting is softer than a night-light, perfect for winding down.
Is the bulb replaceable?
The LEDs are built in and rated for 30 000+ hours (about 20 years of nightly use).
Can I use it while it charges?
Absolutely—plug it into any 5 V USB port and it will glow while topping up.
What colors does the aurora display?

How do I turn it on?
Tap the brass touch-switch on the front. One tap = on, tap again to cycle brightness, long-press to turn off.

Does it need to stay plugged in?
No. You can power it two ways:
• USB-C cable (included) for continuous light.
• 3 × AA batteries (not included) for cordless use.
How do I change the light colors?
Tap the touch button once to turn the light on. Tap again to cycle through 7 fixed colors. Tap the 8th time for slow color-fade and the 9th for fast color-fade. Long-press to turn the light off.
Will the sand ever get “stuck”?
Very rarely. If it does, flip the frame 180° or give it a gentle shake—gravity and the air gap reset the flow.
Is it noisy?
Completely silent—no motors, pumps, or fans. Only gravity moves the sand.
Can kids use it?
Yes. The sand and liquid are sealed; the lamp stays cool to the touch. It’s a calming sensory toy, but keep glass items out of reach of toddlers.
Does it get hot?
